This exam study course will be just what you need to complete your preparation for the challenging Certified Professional-Food Safety (CP-FS) credential exam. Delivered in short sessions over two weeks, you’ll be able to test out your knowledge and identify areas where more preparation is needed. The sessions will be recorded and available for short period of time after the course for course participants.

  • $399 for NEHA members
  • $499 for non-members

The CP-FS credential review course was developed by industry experts from across the country to provide participants with a review of the knowledge and skills necessary to pass the CP-FS Credential Exam. This course was developed to help ensure safe food in any retail environment – as a quality assurance or quality control manager, a facility manager, a food-safe chemical supplier, or as a regulatory inspector/investigator. Topics covered in this course include:

  • Causes and prevention of foodborne illness
  • HACCP plans and active managerial control
  • Cleaning and sanitizing
  • Conducting facility plan reviews
  • Pest control
  • Risk-based inspections
  • Sampling food for laboratory analysis
  • Food defense.
  • Responding to food emergencies and foodborne illness outbreaks
  • Legal aspects of food safety
